ReadGlobe (“we”, “us”) is a free reference website. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, rough country, device type, referrer. It is cookieless, anonymous and aggregated, it cannot identify you, and it runs for every visitor.

If you accept cookies, we additionally load Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay, with form inputs masked) and Google Analytics 4. Both set cookies. If you choose essential-only, neither one loads at all — the scripts are never added to the page. Every part of the site works identically either way. We do not sell or share personal data.

Cookies & advertising

ReadGlobe sets no tracking cookie of its own. The cookies described above belong to Microsoft and Google and load only after you accept.

The Google AdSense script is present on the site for account verification, but no ad units are being served — you will not see an advert on ReadGlobe today. If advertising is ever switched on, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits, and personalised advertising in the EEA and UK would first require a certified consent platform. We ask for consent before any analytics or advertising cookie is set, and you can change that choice at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.

Affiliate links

Book and audiobook links on this site are affiliate links (Amazon Associates, including Audible). We set no cookie ourselves; the retailer sets its own cookie after you click through, which is how a purchase is credited to us. We receive only anonymous, aggregated commission reports — never your identity, your cart, or what you ordered. Not clicking an affiliate link sets no retailer cookie at all. Your rights

Under the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and you may object to processing. Because we store no personal profiles, most requests are satisfied simply by the fact that we hold no identifying data. To exercise any right, email us.

Children

ReadGlobe is a general-audience reference and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
