Write for ReadGlobe
ReadGlobe is new. Every article on it so far was written by its editor, Paulo de Vries. We are looking for the first outside writers, and there are none yet, so you would be one of the founding contributors.
Who this is for
People who know one idea better than most: the author of a book on how we think, decide or learn, a researcher, a practitioner with years in one field. If you can explain a mental model, a bias or a way of working so that a stranger understands it in five minutes, we would like to read it.
What you get
- Your real name on the article, with a short bio and a link to your own site.
- If you have written a book, one link to it on Amazon next to your article. That link carries ReadGlobe’s affiliate tag, which is how the site earns, and it is labelled as such.
- A place in the embeddable feed, so your article can appear on other sites that carry it.
- An editor who reads every line and checks every source before it goes out.
Is it paid?
Not today. ReadGlobe is small and has paid nobody. A revenue share for contributors is planned. The terms will be published on this page before the first payout, and founding contributors will be the first to get them. If that is not enough for you right now, that is a fair answer.
What we publish
- One idea, explained clearly, in roughly 600 to 1,500 words.
- Written by you, for this site. No reposts of an article that is already online.
- Every factual claim with a source a reader can check.
- No text written by an AI and signed by a person. No transcripts of other people’s work.
You keep the copyright. You give ReadGlobe permission to publish the article and to edit it with you. Our standards are on the methodology page.
How to start
Send three lines: the idea you want to explain, why you are the person to explain it, and the main sources. No draft needed yet.
ReadGlobe is published by Caslon Media, which is why the address is theirs. A person reads every message. We aim to reply within a few business days.
